    1. Brought my subaru in under warranty to fix a problem. We described how to recreate the problem. After they had it and said they could not recreate the problem I asked if they did what we told them to do in order to recreate the problem? No, they did not have time to do that. This was the service manager, Dale. I later found out after the warranty was out that the problem was $650 to fix... 2. After taking my car in for a service I was using their shuttle service. On the way home we were in an accident. Luckily, no one was hurt because it could have been a very serious accident. When we arrived back at the subaru service center not one word was spoken to me by anyone there. No one asked if I was ok...no one. Yes Dale the service manager was there. 3. I recently took my car in for a service and it ended up costing $1000. It needed all the parts but when I asked if I could get a 10% or 20% discount I was told that they keep their prices too low and that they cant do this. Most, if not all, service centers give discounts, especially when they are unexpected like this. I asked if he thought $700 for a power steering pump was a good deal and he did not answer, since this is what they charged me. Yes this was Dale, the sales manager. Run, Don't walk, from Doug Smith Subaru Service!

    I recently purchased a 2013 outback from Jon B. He was extremely helpful with helping us pick out what car was right for us. He also knew his stuff and didn't make us feel overwhelmed, like most car salesmen do.I can't say enough good things about our experience with him. Because he was so great we will return to doug smith subaru with all our car needs!!

    I recently purchased a 2014 Subaru Legacy Sport from Tierney M and I absolutely Love it! She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all the different models offered by subaru. She exudes an exceptional level of professionalism and integrity. I felt like helping me find exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle was her first priority, which is a rare quality in a car salesman. I have personally purchased four brand new cars in the last ten years and Tierney M is by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. My experience with her and this dealership is unmatched by all. And I will definetly be back. my parents are currently working with her to make a new purchase also.     I always get fast, friendly service at Doug Smith. I have purchased two vehicles from them and always go to them for service. They have an excellent service department and always follow up with a phone call to see if everything went well. I would highly recommend them.

  • The Best Car Buying Experince I Have Ever Had

    My car buying experience with the Doug Smith Subaru dealership is the best I have ever had. Our sales consultant was Jon B. Jon is by far the best sales consultant I have ever had the pleasure to know. My wife was interested in looking at a Subaru Impreza. Jon was gracious and informative as we talked about the features of the Impreza. When we arrived at the dealership, we were immediately welcomed by Jon. When we decided to purchase the Impreza, I was amazed regarding the short period of time it took--from the moment we stepped into the dealership, to the time we left with our new car. During our visit we were introduced to William J. H, (the manager who arranged our financing), who showed genuine interest regarding our needs. Jon also introduced us to the manager of the service department. Jon took the time to set-up my wife's iPhone to her new Impreza's communications system. Jon listened to us. The Doug Smith dealership truly made us feel like family with our purchase. The Doug Smith dealership has followed up with phone calls, and e-mails concerning our sales experience, service experience and other matters--ensuring we receive the best (and I mean the best) customer service. It is the excellent customer service that separates Doug Smith Subaru from all other car dealerships I have dealt with. I felt we could trust the people we were dealing with. I felt so good about my experience, that I took both of my sons to Doug Smith and they purchased Subaru Impreza's also. And I hope to return to Doug Smith Subaru to purchase my own vehicle. I have recommended Doug Smith Subaru to other family members and friends, without hesitation. I recommend, that if you are interested in a Subaru, make an appointment with Jon B at Doug Smith Subaru (American Fork, Utah) and you will be in good hands. Michael S.

  • Exactly what I wanted

    I spoke to their online dealer, Jeff H. It only took a few back and forth emails and texts, and within days the Outback I wanted was ready. He quoted me a price that was fair and didn't change throughout the process. I would HIGHLY recommend speaking to him. I bought my car 3 months ago, and Jeff still follows up to ask me about it and to remind me of upcoming services and maintenance. What can I say, I love my Subaru.
