Charging $6000 over MSRP without a trade in
by Amra on 11/25/2022I was told today that if you are paying cash and don’t have a trade-in, expect to pay $3000-$6000 MORE than the MSRP. A policy put in place by Don Handy, according to the staff. Matt advised me that some dealerships won’t even sell me a car… without a trade-in but they have it in their hearts to sell me a car but they will have to charge me more to “keep the doors open”Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience with us. by VT Dave on 06/30/2022Salesman Matt Artus, from Handy Chevrolet in St Albans, did a great job finding me my third vehicle from this dealership It took a few weeks these days to locate what I wanted "in transit" but the car had exactly what I was looking for.… What I liked about Matt was there were corporate policies and GM policies he was not 100% fond of but he helped me come to terms with them and avoid my feeling cheated. He even suggested a few tricks that gained me other benefits. Sad that my partner is a 30 year Veteran collecting Military retirement and I still could not get the military discount but that is a GM policy of using some shopping web site for verification. Anyway, Matt is a trustworthy guy!just great!!
