A great car purchasing experience thanks to Emily Tang at Bellevue Honda
by jona51 on 12/29/2014It started a few months back when Brittany Tuttle helped service my wifes car. Brittany went above and beyond expectations to get my wife's car fixed at the lowest cost possible even though the warranty had expired. She restored my faith in… Bellevue Hoda's service department and now I will never go anywhere else for service thanks to her. So when it was my turn for car service if felt comfortable bringing it in and just before my appointment I got an email from Emily Tang in regards to VX program so I decide to discuss my options. Emily never pressured me into anything all she did was lay out all the options including options i did not know i had. She spent a week and a half helping me figure out what type of car and payments I wanted and never asked me buy. She commented that I had to love the car and it had to make financial sense. I think of my myself as a semi-smart guy who is also semi-sceptical of pushy sales and I walk away from those types of inidivuals but Emily Tang is special at what she does. Her personality reflex confidence with modesty that I saw her as a friend rather than someone I was making a business transaction with. Emily did not have to go the extra mile for me and get me into the car I wanted at the price i could afford but my goals soon became her goals. My comfort level soon became her comfort level. She also involved Tom Jorgensen my sales representitive from my previous purchase who I was comfortable with. Tom is a great guy with a huge heart. He builds stong bonds just like Emily so when they both started to work to fulfill my needs I couldn't feel any better about the possability of a new purchase. He never lets me (the customer) know how grateful he is that I chose to come back and again like Emily he made sure I was taken care of in every aspect of the dirving the car, liking the car and providing me with 5 star service. He truly is interested in custumer satisfaction over dealership satisfaction. I would like to mention that Tom was sick one day and Howie Te stepped in and went for a test drive with me to help out in the process. I could tell this was a team effort and no one showed bad feelings toward anyone else or selfishness. Howie just wanted to make sure I was taken care of thanks to Emily. So after all was said and done I had a great experience but still didn't think I could get into a new car for the price i could afford. Emily showed me the options on the accord, civic and fit. Should I lease or buy? What car did I really want? We looked at it from so many ways and Emily was so patient never once trying to close out the deal. I invested the time to allow her to figure out what was possible and she would call me on the phone saying I thought of a couple more possabilities. so after the 3rd or 4th time we sat down she hit my needs staight on and I was ready to purchase a Honda Fit LX. It has been 3 weeks now and I am filling this review out because I wanted to know what I would feel like after the new purchase has worn off. Well, I liked the car at first but now I love it. I have never been happier with a purchase and I am so greatful with the whole process. I never felt pressured. I always felt my needs came first. the whole Bellevue Honda experience was better than I could have thought possible. Emily was the conductor of this experience and it was orchastrated beautifully and I am very happy because of you. Once again, Thank you Brittany, Howie, Tom and Emily. by dnny14 on 12/25/2014Agreed to match a price over email, however upon arrival and spending near one hour in the dealership, the manager just rudely said he wont able to sale the car in the agreed price. Come up with all the lame excuses that I am not eligible… for military discount ($500). Refused to sale the car even with higher than the agreed price ($300 difference between his quote and my offer). Beware and do visit other dealers around the area to see the difference in buying experience.best car shopping experience ever

Emily was knowledgeable and clearly had my best interests at heart. she listened to what I wanted and helped me think carefully about what I wanted to spend and what… features would make me happy. there was no pressure and she was so friendly. Wil Lis was also super helpful and walked me through my new care. even after the purchase, both Wil and Emily checked in on me to make sure I was happy and everything was going smoothly. This is the third vehicle I've purchased from this dealer and I would definitely go back. Best service and best sales in the Puget Sound.Excelent Customer Service

When I was sitting at the desk Zack offered me his jacket, as well as, a cup of… coffee and even brought me a space heater.I was well, informed about the Acura RL which I bought and walked away with such an overall sense of satisfaction. Within an hour Mick got back to me and was more than happy to support my need to minimize time in the dealership. We… processed as much as we could online and via email. I arrived a bit later than planned but Mick had already lined up the paperwork and Dennis to help us complete the transaction. We had two young kids in tow and Dennis help us blast through all the paperwork and still give as a great tutorial on the operations of the car. We were in and out of the dealership in an hour. Unbelievable. These guys are great. I am starting to change my mind about how much I thought I hated the process of buying a car.Honda Bellevue

by dvisser on 10/11/2014Car buying experiences can be tricky so it's great to have someone help navigate you through! This was especially true in our recent used car buying experience. We found the car we were looking for and got a great value on it. However,… the day we drove it off the lot we heard a "ticking" sound which wasn't there during the test drive the previous week. Even though Tom already made his sale, he stuck with us for over 3 weeks while the service department ironed out the issues - all at no cost to us! We felt in good hands with Tom and were delighted that he took care of us. He definitely has the customer in mind and a long term relationship in mind - we will always look to Honda of Bellevue for future purchases. Also, the people in the service department were great too. While it was a tough situation, we were assured the whole time that they would take care of everything for us. Highly recommend Honda of Bellevue for their inventory and service!Good experience Honda Accord

by toddoww on 10/08/2014So far, I am very pleased with my purchase of a 2015 Honda Fit from Honda Auto Center of Bellevue. When I arrived at the dealership, I was immediately greeted by Chris C. I explained that I wanted to look at a particular pre-owned Civic… that I had found online. I knew ahead of time, that I also wanted to test drive a 2014 Civic and 2015 Fit as well. Chris C. was knowledgeable and friendly. We test drove all three cars and I decided on the Fit. When it came down to negotiations, Chris C. was able to secure the price I wanted, matching one from a competing dealership. Gasp! Did I just have a painless car buying experience? Because I secured delivery of the vehicle on a Sunday evening after the Parts department had closed, I had to return to the dealership a few days later to pick up my owed accessories (floor mats and a cargo tray). Not wanting to take away parking from any potential customers, I parked my car in the back lot of the dealership, near the Service department. I went to the parts desk and was surprised when Chris C. met me. Once the parts were brought from the stockroom, Chris took the mats and cargo tray, installed them, and met me with my car in the front of the dealership. Now I know it's not a very big deal to carry floor mats out to your car and "install" them. But Chris C. knows that such a small, genuine gesture can go a long way toward building a good rapport and make a customer for life. I am kind of prepared to go to war with at least two kinds of salespersons at a car dealership. The first is the one that doesn't greet you, doesn't help you, pressures you, or is condescending. The other is the one that is over-the-top agreeable and pleasant in the name of excellent customer service, kissing your a**, inflating your ego, and complimenting you the whole time because they want your sale. Both of these types need to read "How to Sell Cars without being a Total D-Bag". Fortunately, Chris has read the book and taken notes. I am happy to say Chris C. is neither of these said types. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend him. Seek him out. Or if your lucky, he'll be the one introducing himself to you.Pleasant experience

by gardenburgers on 09/26/2014I recently purchased a used 2012 Honda Civic from the Honda Auto Center of Bellevue. When I first entered the department, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff and offered a variety of beverages. Everything was clean and there… appeared to be plenty of staff available. This Honda location appeared to have a relatively large selection of used cars. I was approached by Chris C.i of the sales staff, who took the time to ask about my vehicle preferences and what I was looking for when buying a car. He was patient, courteous, and most of all enthusiastic about both his occupation and the vehicles that he was selling. I was not shown any cars significantly out of my price range, and Chris was very honest about both pricing and service reports for all of Honda's inventory. He took the time to test drive several cars with me and never diverted his attention from myself or accompanying family members, even when I decided that I didn't like a certain make/model of a vehicle. The primary factor that made my 9-hour car shopping day more bearable (Honda was my last stop that day) was Mr. C.'s enthusiasm. He knew most information about every vehicle we looked at, and readily admitted when he didn't so that he could run back into the building and find answers for me. I was initially looking at the CR-Z, which Chris has a passion for, but when I realized that it was out of my price range he was not overly pushy and immediately offered several other more reasonable suggestions for my budget. He worked with me for several hours and continuously displayed a professionalism that one doesn't often see from used car salesmen. This positive attitude and honest approach was what made me stay at the Honda dealer that night instead of coming back another time or looking at a different location. By the end of my visit, and after a small amount of haggling, Chris was able to provide me with a vehicle that suited my needs at a very reasonable price. He did his best to provide all available service records and other paperwork for the vehicle. I was informed that Honda's maintenance crew had completed the vehicle inspection and that it was in fine working condition. Of course, I took my new vehicle to my mechanic (independent), who informed me this morning that it is in "excellent" working condition and that they had no recommendations for additional work at this time. I appreciate the speed of all of the staff at the Honda and the fact that Chris was able to work with me honestly while still doing his job as a salesman. I would definitely recommend a visit to Honda Auto Center of Bellevue if you are looking for a vehicle, and will be referring my friends and family to this location in the future. Emily and Dennis were unbelievably helpful in answering all… my questions and explaining the several options/choices involved with purchase vs. lease. My experience with the two of them and the folks in the financial services department was outstanding. I've been doing business with Bellevue Honda for the past 14 years and I highly recommend them to all. They truly understand the importance of a quality customer service experience for their clientele.
