Heard it said "don't ever take you vehicle to dealership for service, but after the service I received at Bruce Titus, I will never take my vehicle any where else. Josh, Marcella, and the service staff are the greatest. Thanks so much!! I would most definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much..
  • Best car buying experience

5 out of 5 starsby Guyallen on 04/29/2017

This was the easiest and best car buying experience I have had. Gary L. was excellent to deal with. Never any pressure and he worked to get me exactly what I wanted. He found the truck I wanted at another dealership and arranged for them to swap vehicles. I used TrueCar prior to going and I feel like I got the best price possible.
  • Built to order F350

4 out of 5 starsby seabecket on 04/23/2017

I am impressed with the level of service and professionalism experienced at Port Orchard Ford. The truck I wanted had to be custom built to order and with it came a lead time of 8-12 weeks. The sales guys kept me in the know the whole time. I actually got my new fully loaded F350 Lariat in 8 weeks from the day I signed. Port Orchard Ford will ALWAYS be my goto ford dealer in Kitsap county. The other ford dealer on the hill will never see me again. Thanks Jacob job well done
  • Great service, everything as advertised

5 out of 5 starsby Halsnyder on 04/23/2017

I worked with Tiffany online to get additional information I wanted before coming to look at the truck. She took a picture of the undercarriage for me. When I got to the dealer, I was helped by Jason. He answered my questions and treated me like he had all day to work with me. The truck was as advertised and I drove it home.
  • Giving Honest Dealerships a Bad Name

    1 out of 5 starsby w900l on 12/13/2016

Steer clear of these guys. They advertised a new vehicle falsely - as I found out when I got there. It was their "Demo" and had over 5,000 miles on it. They made us wait and wait while they "worked" on the numbers - never actually changing their offer, just they way they explained it four times. Wouldn't budge on price - even though they "redid" the numbers several times. Still ended up as the exact price as a new one with 10 miles on it. There only give was to say that warranty doesn't start until we sell it, so it still has three years to go - forget about the mileage. Then, after being told we had our own financing, they kept coming back with their own bank. We laughed and walked and they backpedaled endlessly, crying for another chance. Old school, 1980's sales tactics and building! Talk about low overhead! Don't walk from here - run!

  • OLD SCHOOL used car salesman

    1 out of 5 starsby KeithB77 on 06/22/2016

Holy crud talk about old school used car salesman, the 80's & 90's called gentlemen and would like their sales tactics back!!! The short & sweet of this is that the management (Steve....) likes to use that old school control & badger the customer to death technique!!! We had deal agreed upon & after we sent them our banks fax # to send over the purchase order. They then decide that they would like to make more profit in the deal by reevaluating my trades and having us do our paperwork through them for our bank, instead of coming up there with a check in hand. Okay so another words, we would like to bring you into the dealership sir & verbally accost you some more until you take less money for your trade in vehicles. Then we want to try & persuade you away from your trusted credit union into one of our financing options. All in the hopes that we can make even more money off of you if possible sir. However the worst case scenario is that we can always back pedal (which we obviously have NO problem doing) & go ahead & send it through your credit union. But at least then we'll have a chance to try & sell all the extended warranties and add on crap that we can. Oh yeah & let's not also forget to mention the charge to your credit union. It's just for a few hundred bucks that we'll get for doing all the paperwork for um, that you could have done at the branch for free with um !!!!! Now we will say this, we do feel bad for the salesperson though. Because she was great the whole way through, professional until the end. We truly did feel that she had earned our business over the other dealerships that we had been shopping ! It's just unfortunate for her that the managers aren't as professional as she was !!! All & all the year is 2016 gentlemen get with the times, because the majority of us consumers do not buy car's this way anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • used truck

I recently bought a used F150 from the Port orchard shop. I had to wait till the next day to get it because they had not done a safety inspection on it. The next day I picked it up and drove it 10 miles and it would not start. Got it back to the dealership and they replaced the battery. I then took it across the street to have Les Swab check it over. They found the idler arm broken, and the front Axel also needed replaced. You could see this from 20 feet away. I got an estimate and talked to the dealership. I was told sorry there was nothing they could do but offered to match their price and do the repairs. This cost over $400.00. I also had to have the door actuators replaced the same day because the doors would not lock cost $220.00. I noticed every morning the truck would have a rough idle for the first minute or two, then would run good. I had another shop put new spark plugs in at over $550.00. This did not help. They said the radiator was full of rust and had to be flushed. Also the tranny was over due for service. They had to flush the radiator 3 times costing $210.00. The tranny cost another $180.00. I asked them to replace the ug wires but that's not the real name for them at a cost $240.00. Still did not fix the rough idle. I started getting a check engine light and took it back and this is when I was told I had a leaking head gasket. They gave me a quote of $2600.00. I call Mr. Bruce Titus and left a msg. I received a call the next day from the general manager. I did not reply to him. I called Bruce again 2 weeks later and left another msg. Again the general manager call and Bruce also called me. I called the general manager and explained to him everything. He said either I can bring the truck back and let them verify the head is blown or we could take it back. I went back and they were not going to give me back what I paid for it, not even close. They then held my truck for a week and came up with an estimate if $4,000.00 to fix it. The general manager offered to pay $2,000.00. Funny that is almost double the quote from the other shop. Needless to my truck isn't fixed. You decide but please have every vehicle checked before you buy from them. The idle arm and from axle both were major safety issues that should have been caught during the safety check. Eric (Doug)
  • Poor service, poor communication.

    1 out of 5 starsby cdriver2 on 07/02/2015

PCM went bad on my 02 t-bird,ended up with bad valve cover gasket. They took three weeks to fix it, didnt' keep me informed of costs, as they mounted! Got incorrect info twice from service writers. The tech thought the last person to work on the car had done poor work-it was the same dealership which had performed the last service, 100k servicing. Seems odd that 5k miles later I end up with $3,700 worth of repairs. My trust level with this dealership has gone way down. Wasn't offered the old parts, car was trashed when I picked it up( they did offer to detail it for me). Worst service experience in 45 years of car ownership.
  • DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!

1 out of 5 starsby ihatebayford on 03/10/2010

The people are worse than the crap cars they sell. Dealers were rude and treated us like children. They sold us a car with frame damage and never disclosed the information to us, now no other company will take my trade. Worst people to deal with: Matt Wambold (owner) and Stephen Haarstick (sales).
  • Bay Ford did fine by me

5 out of 5 starsby katlou on 03/05/2009

I hate car dealers and for the most part believe them to be despicable forms of life, as my past experiences have always been painful and ugly. However, my car of 11 years finally died and I needed to purchase a replacement vehicle. I went to several dealerships throughout Kitsap County and received the usual pressures and multiple follow up calls in which they had found the "perfect car for me". One even "accidently" kept my license and "forgot" to return it to me. Of course I had to return to pick it up. Finally, I stopped by Bay Ford. I worked with Mark Hall, took one car out for a test drive. Mr. Hall did not pressure me. Finally, upon returning to the lot I determined this car was a good vehicle listed at a reasonable price that would not break the bank. It was a relatively simple transaction. Of course the finance manager attempted to sell me an extended warranty. Heck, it's his job. But, he easily accepted my refusal. Overall, I was in and out of Bay Ford within an hour and a half. There was no pressure. The only thing I didn't get was the advertised I-phone with every vehicle...but....oh well. I guess I could pursue that if I wanted to.

We had just been assigned a new duty station in Bremerton Wa and needed a school car for our teen daughter. We went to the dealer and found a car and agreed on some numbers when we got to the paper work they changed the numbers and said they could not give me as much as they had agreed to. Of course i did not sign the paper work, then the owner came in and said he was going to work with us and then he tried to get us to sign for $2000 less for our trade in. What a joke we left and bought a car an hour later from the competing Ford dealer in Bremerton.Stay away from these people they are fast talking [violative content deleted] who arent any good at it
  • Don't go there.

    1 out of 5 starsby dfm2 on 01/09/2008

I had a car drop ship there from a another dealer. Bay Ford was paid by the other dealer to delivery the car. There was minor shipping damage to car before I took delivery. At first the service manage said they would fix it and that there would no problem. When I came back to pick up the car, he then told me no way was Bay Ford was going fix the car, because I didn't buy it there. This was a warrenty item and they would have gotten payed to do the work by Ford. I also ask for a copy of the pre-delivery inspection report, they refuse to give me a copy.

I have to offer many thanks to Keven K. for his help in finding me a car within my budget. I know I was not the easiest client; however, Keven was persistent and informative with me. At the end of the day I drove away in a car I'm proud to drive and I feel safe in. I would recommend Bruce Titus Port Orchard Ford and I would highly recommend Keven as the employee to work with.
  • Why you should buy a vehicle from Shawn Clark

In the past 8 years I have purchased numerous cars from Shawn. His dedication and knowledge is second to none in the vehicle industry. Some of the "average" sales people I have dealt with I would refer to as "yes men" but Shawn is different. I dont feel like Shawn has ever put together a deal that was strictly in HIS best interest. He gives you the options all the time and everytime to find the right vehicle for YOU! I strongly recommend that you choose Shawn to be your next guide in purchasing a vehicle!

Back in June 2011, my wife and I were directed to Gary Lowery of Bruce Titus by a recommendation of a friend. We were looking for a 4-door sedan but didn't have any specifics on make or model. We told Gary our other requirements: less than 5 years old, working A/C, maximum payment we could make, etc. He showed us lots of vehicles that met our requirements and never pushed us towards a car above our maximum payment. After a few test drives we chose a 2009 Malibu and have been happy since. Gary still checks in now and then to make sure everything is fine and to remind us of suggested routine maintenance for our vehicle. we will definitely return to Bruce Titus and Gary when we need another car.

Initially my experience was not the greatest because I request info on a weekend via email. As a result a sales person not familar with the program gave me bad information. A follow up phone call and visit to the dealership resolved the issue. The salesman I worked with was knowledgable and easy to work with no pressure.

First of all, Les was the only salesman in the Seattle area that would give me a quote online. He did everything I asked of him and more. I am very satisfied with the whole process. If you need an online quote get ahold of Les!
