  • We Keep Coming Back - This is Number 5!

    The MDX Tech purchased is as promised - Exactly What We Need to Travel! But more to the point is the terrific service we have gotten now and in the past. The entire team performs with dedication and a target of satisfying the customer. A delivery date was set and due to external factors we needed the car 2 days earlier. True to the Acura of Brookfield way they delivered on ALL the items including the different tires requested. Trying to mention all those involved would take the entire team roster but here goes. Bob Costelli has been our go-to guy for the last 3 cars out of the 5 we purchased. He has gone from being a 'sales professional' to FRIEND with honest information, opinions and truth. If they get better than that let us know. Terry Trutchel has been in our lineup for years and serves as the 'dealer' in the deal. Our conversations on price are casual, done with a smile and from the shoulder. We have never felt shorted on any deal. Signing the papers are usually a habit to be broken but Brian did it with ease explaining thoroughly each item and keeping it light and simple. Wayne Christensen got the tires late but was able to deliver the goods. When his name is on the window sticker as the 'Inspector' you know it is complete. With the Acura Certified program's requirements and auditing procedures checking for a sloppy certificate we believe Wayne is the gold standard. Acura of Brookfield has always been a service go to with a first name attitude and respect. When we come in and DO NOT have our Boxer, Mulligan, with all we hear is "Where's Mulligan?" It's a joke but shows their personal touch. Done. These professionals are first rate.

    Asked one question about a potential brake issue and the effort by the dealer service dept was outstanding. They were truthful as well - it can wait but made me aware of what to look for and potential additional service issues or they could squeeze me in same day even though it was a packed Saturday for service. All employees I encountered has a god attitude or warm 'hello'.

    I was impressed with the attention I received from the entire staff at Brookfield Acura. I'm from the Chicago-land area and found the car I was looking for 2015 TLX SH AWD, on-line, in their demo inventory. They had three cars to choose from. I drove up, traded in my car and drove home in my 2015 TLX. Overall I felt that the interactions I had with the staff (especially my salesmen Bob) were genuine.     I bought my first Acura from Brookfield Acura 16 years ago. I kept my TL for 13 years and then traded it in 3 years ago for an RDX. I have all my service done at this dealership for all 16 years. It is always a fantastic experience, unlike many 'service' experiences I have had. They will give you a ride home if your work will take awhile or you can get a free loaner while the work is being done. So very easy and convenient. Also their waiting area has big comfortable leather couches, a TV, snacks, a fridge full of cold drinks and a custom coffee machine. There are computer workstation areas and bistro tables if you want to get something done while you wait. And on my most recent visit last week, they have added a free chair massage while you wait. What !?? My 90 minute appointment sailed by. My service was done, my car was washed and waiting out front. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

    Work at the dealer is pricey, but worth it, I.e., a reasonable value, if you never want to deal with mistakes and other damage due to unqualified or not careful technicians. And AoB has always been professional and courteous.

    We have owned numerous other " high-end" cars (Lexus and Audi) and experienced working with many other Service Consultants. David Osterhaus of Brookfield Acura is by far the best. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and easy to work with. Most important, he is willing to accommodate my needs on a personal basis. As a hobby I restore vintage motorcycles and I suspect possess greater mechanical and automotive knowledge then the average customer. Therefore, I enjoy doing some of the routine work and maintenance myself. David has freely offered advice and modified maintenance schedules for my benefit. This is in stark contrast from the experience I had with another dealership down the road. This dealership did not appreciate the fact that I like doing some of my own work, and it seemed like a real chore for them to deviate or modify their set maintenance.

  • Best and most honest car buying experience of my life

    I want to take the time to sing the praises of Internet Sales Manager Matt Nettisheim, Pre-owned Sales Manager Ben Mortimer, and our outstanding Sales Consultant Steve Armitage. All three of them offered outstanding service. They were thorough, accommodating, reasonable, fair, and even generous, a word almost never associated with a used car purchase. Matt gathered all of the information I needed and made it easy to streamline the process once I arrived. Ben stayed open late and wore multiple administrative hats to accommodate my family getting held up while driving from a distance. Steve took the car for a test drive to ensure it was in perfect working order, and when he noticed a small issue that would need servicing, they discounted the price of the car without me even asking. I have never encountered integrity and service on this level. Acura Brookfield will be the first place I look for every car purchase going forward, and I strongly encourage people to patronize this amazing dealership. Be sure to ask for Steve Armitage, a kind, friendly and thorough sales advocate, and I do mean advocate.

    Another excellent exeperience buying my 2nd car from Acura of Brookfield. Stuart Beispiel is an excellent salesman who sold us a new MDX for a fair price. He was extremely friendly and professional and remained true to his word to match (and beat) any price we could find. He quickly located the model and color we were looking for and kept us updated on the delivery. I will be buying my next Acura from him in the future.

  • Sadly Suprised

    I say sadly surprised because I have become accustom to manufacturers and their distributors refusing to stand behind their products, and have just accepted it as the way things are done in the modern world. Acura of Brookfield is a refreshing exception to this. I have been dealing with other automobile manufacturers and dealerships for over thirty years, and this is the first time I felt motivated to give anyone a positive review. The story below goes into a little detail of how well I was treated. I went to Acura of Brookfield fully expecting to pay for a repair that was the result of an obvious design problem with my car. (On-line research indicated that the problem I was experiencing was also being experienced by others. It was a minor trim related problem, mechanically the car has been solid, as you might expect from Acura.) When I checked in, I got the typical “we’ll take a look at for you” from the service representative. I didn’t say anything about knowing that this was a design problem, figuring that it wouldn’t help anyway, and it wasn’t the service representative’s fault so why yell at him. After only a few minutes the service representative came over to give me the damages (like I said, I expected to pay for the repair). He told me they had the part in stock and could do the repair while I waited. And, that because they have seen a pattern of my model car with this issue, they would be doing the repair for free. (My only complaint is how hard their floor is because I fell out of my chair.) Are you kidding me? Someone in this day and age putting their money where their mouth is? It would have been easy to tell me how sorry they were, but because the car is out of warranty it was going to cost me to get it fixed. They could have offered me a bottle of water, apologized again and been like the rest of the friendly distributors who don’t stand behind their products. Acura of Brookfield was not only friendly, they did the right thing for their customer. Why can’t every car dealer behave like Acura of Brookfield?

    What a great experience I had at this dealership. Good follow up and I never felt the full court press to make a sale. Very patient and understanding. Wonderful product and overall a class dealership trying to maintain a lasting relationship. I never felt like a single transaction and they moved to the next person.

    I am driving my 4th MDX purchased from Acura of Brookfield. I have an excellent salesman, Richard Bravata, who always greets me when I am in for service. The service I receive is always excellent, efficient, and courteous and often above and beyond my expectations. At my recent visit, Gary, my service advisor, saw a scuff on my bumper and had the detail people buff it back to new! Thank you Acura of Brookfield!
