Carson Honda
Dealership Service Review
took my Honda CRV that I purchased the previous week in for additional parts to be installed. Drop the car off at my 9 o’clock appointment time and was told by the technician they would try to finish it that day, but could possibly take longer. In the afternoon, I called to inquire about the Cars readiness and was told they needed to keep it overnight. The next day when my wife inquired about the car being finished around 130 they said it was done and then we could come and pick it up. When arriving at the dealership and being taken care of, I was asked to sign the work completion order by the technician , I opted to not sign until I had actually checked out my car to see if the work and parts had been performed satisfactorily. when I got to my car, I noticed very poor quality control and also workmanship and walk back in to let the technician know the work was not acceptable. We went back outside and I showed him how poorly the work had been performed and asked if they actually had any quality control, and did they check the items to see that they were installed correctly before telling me the car was ready. We went back inside and the technician said he needed to go and find the head of the service area, I found a seat and got comfortable as I knew this was not going to be , a short stay . my wife and I sat down in the showroom and eventually the service technician showed up with a man that I would say is a manager. I stood up, introduced myself and shook his hand and explained to him how unacceptable the work was and that I was not happy they had had my car for over 18 hours, and it was not done correctly. He said that the items that were stuck on the exterior at the lower trim level had just been installed today and that they needed 24 hours to dry correctly and could he keep my car again overnight to which I responded do you have another car for me to drive home ? He said he could get me an Uber which I denied and said no you’re not keeping my car you had 18 hours to get this right and if it needed that long to dry, why wasn’t it installed yesterday there weren’t that many things that you did to the car , that would have advantage from installing it correctly the day before. He turned started to walk away from me, which made me respond to him Worth do not disrespect me like that and turn your back on me after I just spent $42,000 for an automobile at your dealership. I stood up and greeted you and shook your hand when you walked in I expect you to treat me with respect and not turn your back on me on voice complaints that are clearly your dealerships fault. I told them I wanted the trims removed and I wanted credit posted to my account because there was no way that they were going to stay on. I don’t care how long they allowed the glue to dry with door protector on the driver side, which they tried to correct while I sat there and end up making it worse. they ended up pulling the trim pieces off the car and said they would figure out a type of credit to give me for the pieces, they were going to order me a new door protector. Call me on Tuesday to arrange for the install. today is now Wednesday and I have received no follow up. Call from the dealership , which is not surprising. I would never recommend Carson Honda to anyone interested in buying a new Honda automobile. Still waiting for the supposed credit for the pieces that they took off, as well as figuring out when the new door protector on the driver side will be installed very bad customer service .
