Dealership Service Review
I brought my CRV in for an oil change and recall fix for the steering wheel. Jose Medina greeted me with "we may not have the recall part because you're the 6th person in here with the request and we have only 1." I described my problem with the steering wheel which had been going on for 2 months and progressively getting worse and I felt it was a safety issue. Jose said more parts were expected and the job could get done today but it would be a wait. So I waited. Three hours later he called me in to say the oil change was done but not the recall. I asked what to do about it because I no longer felt the car was safe to drive. He said he didn't think my problem was the recall because the recall was for a stuck wheel and not one that moves like being snapped to grid at random. He suggested the technician could take the car on a test drive. I returned to the waiting room. An hour later I was told the car was fixed as parts had come in. I drove home with no more steering wheel problems! It was a busy day at Honda, and Jose was polite under pressure to get us moving in and out. Not 5 stars because he didn't seem empathetic or completely knowledgeable about the recalled part issue, but he took my complaint seriously enough to get my car fixed, and I left satisfied and relieved.
