Dealership Sales Review
We agreed on a purchase price for delivery of a new 2022 Hyundai Accent. They charged my credit card $1000 as a deposit. The car arrived and during the contacting process the dealer would not sell the car unless I agreed that my data could be used for marketing purposes. The dealer also insisted on a credit check on a pure cash deal. I would not agree and had to go through the hassle of getting a cashiers check. At closing the dealer failed to give credit for the $1000 deposit. This was adjusted after my objection. The dealer failed to include a temporary license plate upon delivery. We had to return to get the temporary plate. We sent the dealer the insurance card so the car could be registered and asked for confirmation of receipt. The dealer did not provide the courtesy of a confirmation. This is the worst new car dealer I have ever dealt with.
