Used 2023 FIAT 500X SUV Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

For 2023, the 500X comes in two trim levels: Pop and Sport. A turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 177 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque is the only engine available across the lineup. It's connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission that sends power to a standard all-wheel-drive system. Feature highlights include:

Pop
This entry-level trim serves as the 500X's base model and starts off with:

  • 17-inch alloy wheels
  • Automatic LED headlights
  • Keyless entry
  • Remote start
  • Cloth upholstery
  • Height-adjustable front seats
  • 7-inch touchscreen display
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility
  • USB inputs (two front, one rear)
  • Six-speaker sound system

Additionally, all 500X models receive the following advanced driver aids as standard:

  • Forward collision mitigation (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
  • Lane departure warning (alerts you if the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane)

Sport
This top-spec model adds:

  • 18-inch wheels
  • Sportier exterior styling
  • Dual chrome exhaust tips
  • Upgraded cloth seats
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Sport steering wheel with shift paddles

Option packages include:
Comfort Group (only available on Pop)

  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Color in-instrument cluster information screen
  • Front parking sensors

Technology Group (only available on Sport)

  • Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the 500X and the car in front)
  • Forward collision mitigation (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Automatic high beams
  • Navigation system
  • Premium audio system

Which 500X trim does Edmunds recommend?

With the midlevel Trekking model discontinued, we suggest going with the base Pop trim. It comes with a good assortment of standard features, and you can upgrade it with creature comforts normally reserved for the Sport by selecting the Comfort Group for not much more. If you want adaptive cruise control, however, the only way to get it is by springing for the top Sport model with the Technology Group package.
