Vehicle shakes at speeds of 70 or more
This is my THIRD Ford expedition, i had a 2019, 2021, and now the 2024. All three same thing, stealth package with 22 inch rims. The 2024 Expedition is the only vehicle that shakes at speeds of 70 + MPH. Brought the vehicle back to local Ford dealer 5 times, they changed 2 of the tires, balanced the tires and rims, rotated the tires, called in a Ford specialist and so on. Nothing works. I called FORD directly and apparently their solution is change the 22 inch tires to the 18 or 20 inch and it will ride smoother. This is no shocker obviously, more tires + better ride. I love the Expedition as you can tell, but shaking at speeds of 70+ is not gonna happen so I will be filing the lemon law. All I can say is drive it before you buy it. Also, yes the transmission does slip from time to time but not its all the time so i barely notice it.

10 Speed Automatic Transmission is a Piece of Junk
I've been a loyal Ford person since 1978. I own 4 Fords right now and the 2 that have the 10 speed transmission and Eco-Boost 3.5 engine are junk. The transmission has shifted into neutral all by itself when accelerating to pass on the freeway. We had to pull over; cut the car off, remove the key and then restart it to correct the situation on our 2020 Expedition. The dealership has worked on the transmission 4 times and finally after threatening Ford with a lawsuit; they replaced the transmission with a rebuilt transmission under warranty. Let's see how long this lasts. Same thing happened with my 2018 F-150 transmission. Piece of junk. The problem is that many other car manufacturers use the same 10 speed transmission as Ford.

I still love it, few issues though. Stealth trim
Besides it looks good and amazing to drive, here is what bothers me: 1. Breaks whistle, there is nothing I can do to fix it easily. I called dealership, and even though I have all kind of coverages and this a basically brand new vehicle with couple K miles on it the dealership says - we do not hear the whistle. Because it whistles only when I stop by my friends to share couple words. Imagine a guy, paying $100k price for a vehicle and staying around dealership in order to wait when it will be whistling. So I went private shop to put perforated rotors in order to get rid of whistles, because the break pods are tough and whistle a lot. $5k fix. Wonder why it is not included in the vehicle!!!!! 2. There are software updates coming often and after owning the car 1 year - the updates do not install. It can happen that vehicle won't start without an update installed and reminders about the update can kill any ride: your screen blocked and it says: "update is not installed, please contact dealer". Called support - they say: your battery low...amazing! 1 year car, 14k miles. I did not buy the car just to stay in touch with support and drive it around dealership. So my mechanic friends were right: ford improved drastically, but there are still a lot to consider!
