Quality
I purchased this vehicle new in October of 2008. It has performed flawlessly for 158,000 miles. Oil changes and routine suspension maintenance, belts etc. This has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. Ford did a heck of a job with this vehicle. The American answer to the Accord/Camry in terms of reliability. Some minor creams as it is now higher mileage and driven in the rustbelt/great lakes region.

Just as good, but cheaper than imports
Due to lots of bad experiences, my family is anti-domestics as far as cars go. I test drove a Fusion and couldn't get past how much less expensive it was for more options. It has been a great car so far. It's amazingly quiet and smooth, easily the best car I've owned so far.
It was great at first. . .
This is my 8th car, 2nd new car and first American made car. Initially I was elated with my purchase and glad that I decided to buy American. I drive 100 miles round trip 5 days a week. The drive home in my roomy and comfortable Fusion was something I looked forward. And I only have to buy gas twice a week. Fast forward 10 months,I just had to get a new transmission and I am going online later to find a condenser. The condenser issue really could have happened to anyone,(so they say)a little rock bounced into it . It is just annoying that it happened 3 days after the transmission was replaced. Now everyday I dread the ride to and from work, wondering what will go wrong next
Great 4 door sedan
I owned my 2009 Ford Fusion for 7 years before it was totaled with 137,000 miles on it. I bought it with 44,000 and have been all over with it. It is a very reliable car that never left me stranded. Other than oil changes and tires it never gave me problems until it’s got over 100,000 miles and those problems were very minor (broken door handle and small leak under car. I would give this vehicle 5 stars but I was very disappointed how it fell apart due to it being completely totaled by little impact

Bought my 2009 Ford fusion se 1 month ago
I bought this vehicle exactly a month ago the only 2 issues actually 3 issues I've had in the 1 month I've owned it is I needed a new valve cover gasket there was a spark plug that was stuck so that cost me 140 bucks for valve cover gasket and to get the plug out then the transmission went online after a month of owning it which cost me 2400 dollars for a rebuilt transmission but other than that I LOVE they way this car rides it's so smooth and I love the sound system I would like to upgrade to a newer fusion like a 2011 or 12
