The Ford GT is an all-new supercar that pays homage to the original GT40 that dominated international sports car racing in the mid- to late-1960s. It will be produced in limited numbers (approximately 3,500 units over a two-year production run) and offer performance on par with the world's most exclusive -- and expensive -- supercars.

2005 Ford GT 2dr Coupe (5.4L 8cyl S/C 6M)

I have been restoring and collecting classic cars for over 25 years, and I have never driven anything as exciting and enjoyable as the new Ford GT. Even my Best of Show Winning 1967 Shelby GT350 does not compare to the feel and presence of this Ford Supercar. It is, without question, the most capable and enjoyable car on the market today. More fun than imagined...

2005 Ford GT 2dr Coupe (5.4L 8cyl S/C 6M)

An absolutely awesome example of beautiful kinetic sculpture. More fun than I ever imagined it would be to drive. Better than 10% improved performance on the Bondurant High Performance Driving School autocross times than their Corvette Z06. Baggage capacity stinks but works for the overnight trip.

2005 Ford GT 2dr Coupe (5.4L 8cyl S/C 6M)

I have only driven 181 miles so far. This car is the best driving experience of my life! I have been very fortunate, having driven several "supercars", and this one is THE BEST overall experience to date. Quickest, fastest, best handling and, BY FAR, the friendliest "monster" I have driven.

More than a handful, this is not your father's Oldsmobile - nor does it bear any resembalance to ots namesake, the Mustang GT. Save this car for perfect days and keep the milage low and it will be a better investment than any 401K.
