2025 Genesis Electrified GV70

Genesis is known for delivering luxury at a much more accessible price than its German rivals, and that holds true for the 2025 Electrified GV70. You get a ton of features for the money, including nearly every advanced safety feature you can think of. Naturally, you'd expect some corners to be cut, and the GV70's interior materials aren't as posh as what you'd find in a Mercedes, but they're not that far off. It's currently our second-favorite electric luxury SUV in any size category, coming in second to only the larger BMW iX that costs at least $20,000 more. In the two years since the Electrified GV70 debuted, direct rivals have been hard to find. The Tesla Model Y and Volvo XC40 Recharge are in a smaller class, but the competition is finally starting to heat up with the debut of some new models. The Audi Q6 E-tron shows a lot of promise and is priced similarly, while the all-new 2025 Cadillac Optiq costs less. On the horizon, BMW is working on an electric X3 equivalent. For those with deeper budgets and a thirst for performance, the Porsche Macan EV is a desirable alternative.
