They just keep getting better....
Our 2014 Accord EX-L Navi is our fourth Accord, and our seventh Honda. So far, this 2014 Accord is the best ever. Superb seats, roomy, quiet, peppy, and an overall resounding ring of quality. In reading other '14 Accord reviews, I note a range of complaints...and while many of these complaints may be well founded, one must recognize the Accord for what it is...for it's value. What other car could I buy like this for less than $27K! We have owned several BMW's and other "luxury" vehicles. Most (but not all) have been a bit nicer than the Accord, but when rating any of them relative to their initial cost and maintenance costs, all fail to even remotely compare to the amazing value of the Accord. Our '14 Accord is now 2+ years old, and continues to run flawlessly. Like all my past Accords (and CR-V's, and del Sol), I perform all of my maintenance. Oil changes @ every 5K miles on this '14 are a virtual snap, with super easy access to drain and oil filter. The highest mpg recorded thus far was 41.4 mpg for one full tank, but this was a rare event which involved almost exclusively 55-60 mph continuous driving. I usually witness about 32-33 mpg overall per tank, and overall life of vehicle mileage is 31.9 mpg. The singular gross disappointment with this Honda does not directly involve the vehicle, but rather is aimed singularly at the Navi system. This Honda Navi system has to be the very worse system we have ever used. Not only is it difficult to use, not intuitive, but it also is inaccurate in providing directions. The solution thus far has been avoidance...we simply use our iPhones or portable Navi...but disappointing appreciating the $1K option price. Update 11/29/2016: This '14 Accord still proves to be the best Accords (and best Honda) we've owned. Although I had some doubts about liking the CVT transmission (we've had several manual and traditional automatic transmissions in past Hondas), I've learned to really love the CVT...especially when using cruise control in situations where more power is demanded (mountains). The CVT is near seamless, with RPM's rising to the needed power...but without any noticeable downshifts that one would experience with a normal automatic. Likewise, acceleration with the CVT is amazingly smooth. No CVT downsides at all. Update 5/30/2017: Really nothing new to report...and am doing so as Edmunds requested an update. Our Accord continues as one fine car. No complaints whatsoever, other than the lousy NAV system which we simply avoid. The bluetooth in the sound system is very good, sensing our iPhones immediately, and allowing us to stream music/podcasts from the iPhones through the sound system. Nice feature. I mentioned earlier that I have owned several "luxury cars". This '14 Accord continues to rank right up with the best of all of them. The only vehicle I have driven that conveys more confidence and stability was a '97 Lexus LS400. While the Lexus was one very fine vehicle - it also had an new purchase price almost three times of this Accord. Overall mileage remains at 32.9 mpg, with highs around 35 mpg. Update 5/31/2019 The Accord continues to perform admirably...excepting a CVT quirk. The car now has 37K miles. As to the CVT quirk...if the car is parked for a period greater than two days, the CVT hesitates to move when placed in reverse. The reverse hesitation is minor...about 3-5 seconds. The car does slowly begin to move in reverse, and once moving is normal. Subsequent attempts at reverse are smooth. The reverse deal is ONLY after parking for 48+ hours...the longer the park, the more accentuated the reverse lag.

Nice car......too bad about the seats
I have owned this car for 7 days, and even though I love the ride, power, CVT, looks, and all the other stuff, the bucket seats are awful. I am 6 feet tall, 195 lbs, and there is no way to adjust the seat to fit my size. The seats are built for a small framed person (like my wife, 5'7 130 lbs). When I sit in the drivers seat I actually sit up on it, with no butt support, and no back support. The drivers seat is crippling me. The back seats are much flatter, and better. Take the car for longer than a 15 minute test drive, or rent one for a weekend. I made an expensive mistake. This is now 28 months later. I got rid of the Honda after 1 month of ownership, took a huge beating on it, but I upgraded to a Volvo S60 AWD, and it is the best thing I could have done. My back is back, and the Volvo is a pleasure to drive.

Had to trade it in after four months
I thought I was going to really like this car, but found it to be uncomfortable with an overwhelming amount of road noise. I'm 5 foot 2 and the seats (slightly concave design at the mid secti) never worked for me, Also the front head restraints pushed my head too far forward, and only were comfortable (tolerable) when I turned them backwards. The back seat covers never fit right (despite 2 replacement efforts) could not repair. The navigations system was useless. When I searched for local restaurants or shops it gave me a listing for restaurants 500 miles away. Lastly the voice recognition interface worked intermittently.
Pleased with 2014 Accord Coupe EX-L Nav 2.4
I purchased this car with 20K miles. I use it as the family do-everything workhorse, everything from grocery trips and around-town errands to long-distance trips. I also have a 2006 Honda Ridgeline for the real heavy-duty tasks and an older Lexus SC430 for weekend fun. The Accord does everything I ask of it. It is reliable, efficient, economical, comfortable, and looks great. I might also add fun to the list, since the Accord Coupe handles very well for an all-arounder, and accelerates well even with the 4 cylinder automatic. I have had a few Lexus and Acura cars, and I would have to say that the materials, fit, and finish of this car compares well with those. There are a few tiny details that could have been done slightly better (such as auto lights, night rear view mirror), but there are also a few features that are above and beyond what you'd expect. The keyless locking and ignition, passenger heated seat, trunk protective liner, lane-change camera, lane watch sensor, and others are examples of things you get but might not expect for the price. Overall, I'd recommend the Accord Coupe as a solid, safe, fun buy. Since it's really the only coupe out there, resale should be solid if you change your mind later.

Navigation system is very slow
I noticed the built in navigation system is quite a bit slow compare to the stand-alone unit. The display is confusing when you get to the intersection. Worst is when I got to a stop sign, the display just froze because it needed more time (probably about 10 seconds or more) to figure it out and to update the display. I couldn't just stop there and waited until the display is update. I got lost 3 times in a trip and waste about 15 minutes because I had to turn around. The system is good if you travel in high-ways or big roads, when you got into small roads that is when it got screw-up. Even on the high-way, a few times, the exit display gets update just as you got very close or passed the exit! You don't have time to react. The problem I think is the system is TOO SLOW and perhaps the software needs to be update. The conclusion is this system is unsafe (you need to spend more time to figure thing out or you have to make a quick move to get into the right exit), waste your time and gas because you have to turn around. If I have to give it a grade, it would be between a D and an F
