The manual transmission, a dying breed.
I purchased my 2015 Accord Sport 6 speed MT April of 2015. After one year of ownership and over 16k miles, this Accord is hands down, one of the best cars under $25k. I looked at almost every car in this segment and was impressed with the Accord's overall value. I was really adamant about opting for the manual transmission. I drove a Sport model with the CVT, and boy, the CVT is not for me. Yes, I get its efficient design and concept of having a "constant" power ratio to achieve best mpg possible. I feel though you sacrifice SO much driving experience for 1 to 2 mpg. In my opinion, the manual transmission really brought this car to life; definitely more fun to drive. I stand 6'5 at 230 lbs. I was very impressed with head room and adequate leg room from not only a driver standpoint, but also as a rear passenger. The telescoping steering column telescopes more than enough for my desired comfort. Driver seat is OK, I find myself adjusting it on road trips of more than three hours - but that is almost standard in any car I've had with my abnormal size. Visibility is excellent; the pillars are smaller than most new cars. Safety is another reason I purchased - in 2013 the Accord was one of the only cars to receive a "Good" rating for the new "small overlap" crash test by the IIHS. In mixed driving conditions I consistently get 28-30 mpg. If I'm driving all highway I can easily get 35-37 mpg. To find a car that I can easily fit in, comes very well equipped, gets up to 35 mpg, has somewhat of a fun-to-drive factor, a low cost of ownership, a great resale value, and is a safety "top pick" by the IIHS, what else do you really need? It's worth the road noise and cheap feeling power window switches. (You're buying a Honda not an Acura).

Lumbar Back Pain
I just got the car a few months ago. I drive local and just to a trip from NY to CT. Nothing but pain on my lower back. My sciatic nerve down my right leg bothering me everyday since I got the car. 10 being the worst. The seats are poorly made. I can't wait to my lease is up. I'm looking to purchase a seat cushion and go to physical therapy. I'm really disappointed. I had a 95 Accord and I loved it. Honda makes great products. But the Comfort is a Zero! Don't buy if you looking for comfort. Also don't go by my review only. Google ' 2015 Honda Accord seat complaints.' Honda needs to correct this problem or they will lose customers.

2015 Honda Accord Sport 6M
Do your research. I went to Planet Honda in Denver and got an excellent price on a new Sport. My big requirement was that the car be a manual. Planet Honda was able to obtain one at a very reasonable price. I have had the car for about 2 months and have put over 5000 miles on the vehicle. I have been very happy with the car overall. I drove the car from Denver back to Rapid City the day that I purchased it and was immediately impressed with the comfort of the seats. After 6 hours of driving I was un-fatigued and not at all sore. The vehicle drove very well, although the shifter takes some getting used to. I'm not sure if it was because I was switching from a 5 speed 2007 Honda Accord or if the 6 speed is just different than most. Once I got used to it, it hasn't been an issue. The performance is quite lively, especially (and in my opinion, only) with the stick. I've been getting about what the EPA predicted for mileage, which is impressive given my exuberant driving style. The big downside to the vehicle is the lack of a decent stereo. My old Accord had an aftermarket stereo and speakers with a small subwoofer. The Sport only has a 4 speaker stereo. While it is not bad for a base stereo, I would prefer a little bit more oomph. But I imagine that it would be fine for the majority of consumers. When I was looking for a new car one of the main vehicles, aside from the Accord, was a GTI. Obviously the GTI is a quicker car and the Accord gives up a little bit of speed and sportiness. The big draw of the Accord over the GTI is the roominess of the Accord. We have a 3 year old and he had a lot more space in the back of the Accord, obviously. While we were able to get his booster seat in the GTI, I had to put it in the middle seat to provide enough leg room for him. I have several friends and coworkers who are over 6 feet tall and I have yet to hear a complaint about lack of room. It is just a very comfortable car. This is starting to ramble so I will end by saying that despite the new car smell having worn off, so to say, that I am still very much enamored with this car.

Great car
The car is great. No regrets at all and we are a Toyota / Lexus family. Very happy. The edmunds price promise was the best of any deal I found.

Very Satisfied
I bought the Sport after test driving an LX. I found the seats on the LX unacceptable. Also, I thought the gas pedal on the LX was a bit too eager. The salesman suggest I try the Sport model, and it is a vast improvement. The driver's seat is adjustable every which way and comfortable. The CVT shifts smooth and the acceleration is great. I am very satisfied with this car. Although, I would advise anyone thinking of buying an Accord to move up from the LX model. The difference between the LX and Sport is huge.
