Trim level differences
The 2026 Honda Passport is a two-row midsize SUV. It slots between the smaller CR-V and larger Pilot, the latter of which is essentially a longer three-row version of the Passport. The Passport comes in three main trim levels: RTL, TrailSport and TrailSport Elite. All Passports use a 3.5-liter V6 engine (285 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque) paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.
Which Passport trim does Edmunds recommend?
The standard RTL comes well equipped, but we think it's worth stepping up to the TrailSport trim even if you don't plan on utilizing its full capabilities. The jump in price is small, and the extra features really help the Passport stand out from other midsize SUVs.
