Smooth driving . Great city and highway driving. Safety systems like my wife’s Mercedes E350. Drivers assistance, emergency breaking, lane tracking. I drive 24,000 miles a year. The car comes with the standard 10 year warranty. I have driven German cars for the last 35 years.. It was time to buy a more reliable and less expensive expensive car. I couldn’t be happier.

Confusing

2024 Hyundai Sonata SEL 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl 8A)

I bought the SEL. I traded in my 2015 Hybrid. The dash panel is very confusing and not as user friendly to learn. Sometimes I figure out what radio mode I'm in or how to change it while driving. When you start the car, it asks me to confirm that it is me. Then it takes me to a panel of choices instead of the map, or radio, or another choice. The car talks to me for no reason tell me there is a stop light ahead. (I can see that, thank you). Once the map started giving me instructions and there was nothing entered into it. Etc! On the other hand, it drives nice, quiet, and has some unique feature I really like, like drive assist. It's also very pretty and sporty looking with a beautiful grill and rear. Lots of great features but it's going to be a learning curve which, you can't do while driving.

I drove the 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid. Toyota dealers have over priced this vehicle way over MSRP…Pass. Drove Mazda, CX3 and CX-5.. Noisy,,sluggish. Drove the Hyundai Sonta SEL and then the limited model. WOW.. what a great car. The limited has a larger engine and more bells and whistles and that is what i purchased. Great on good roads. And what vehicle is great on crappy roads,,right?? Very quiet ride. Great Bose sound system. Easy to use and set up functions and controls. LOVE this car so far. Incredible performance and incredible fuel economy. Great warranty as well. Wish me sucess.

Unreliable Sonata

Hate the car. Car is in the Service just about every week since I leased the car almost five months ago - first for a malfunctioning trunk - sometimes it lifts open - sometimes does not. Haven't been able to get it fixed. For the last month, I've been having problems with alert lights coming on the dashboard since the weather started getting cold. Keep getting different reasons why the alerts keep coming up. So far, problem hasn't been resolved after taking it in for service three times. Contacted Hyundai Corp to try either getting the car fixed or have them give me a new car. It's very scary having all these alerts pop up as I'm driving. I'm a senior and depend on my car to get me to places that I need to go on a daily basis. I'm done leasing Hyundai's.
