Trim level differences
The 2024 Venue is filling the slot in Hyundai's lineup as the brand's most basic crossover. But even at the entry level the Venue is outfitted with a solid array of features. Three trim levels — SE, SEL and Limited — are available and all come with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder good for 121 horsepower and 113 lb-ft of torque. The engine drives the front wheels (all-wheel drive isn't available) through a continuously variable transmission. Keep reading for our rundown of the key standard features you get with each trim.
Which Venue trim does Edmunds recommend?
We like SEL trim's combination of abundant features and reasonable price. Stepping up to this midlevel trim puts 17-inch wheels on the Venue (replacing the 15-inch wheels on the SE) and adds rear disc brakes. Both should help improve the Venue's braking and handling. You'll also get rear cross-traffic warning and blind-spot warning systems, which are significant safety features that can prevent an accident.
