This car is amazing. It drives awesomely. Interior is lavish. I am going to love this car for years. Not sure why this other review says you control volume or air through the dashboard. That is not true in my vehicle. The dashboard is amazing and far better than what I had In my Mercedes.

Gorgeous But Problematic

I purchased what I thought was the car of my dreams; however, little would I ever expect, the car did not make it to its 1-year anniversary. The little things quickly became gigantic things. A dead battery started the downfall following its first oil change at 5K mi. After getting the car home and parking, the next day the battery was dead. I chalked it up to being a fluke and dismissed it; until it happened again after the next routine oil change service. Skipping to the chase all of the following occurred within the 1st year of ownership: 1- the radio developed a mind of its own and would go off and on of its own accord while driving. On, at least, one instance that I know the radio went on and off without me (or the key fob) being in the car. 2- The sunroof wouldn't fully close without a fight. You had to start and stop its motion several times to coax it to fully close. 3- The dynamic shifting system completely stopped functioning. Attempting to shift the car to the various driving modes was futile as nothing would happen. Given all of this, the dealership facilitated transporting the car by trailer to their service repair shop where they attempted to resolve the issues. Unable to fully resolve the problems, they were in contact with the factory in the UK for technical assistance. Two weeks passed without success. Although the work (or non-work) was under warranty as the car was less than a year old, at no time did the Jaguar dealership (or corporate as I was also in contact with them) offer me a loaner vehicle, thus leaving me to my own resources. After 2 weeks of non-action with no resolution in sight, I gave in, and I sold the car while it was still in their possession and purchased another vehicle (NOT A JAGUAR!!). At the time car was a few days shy of 1 year old.
