2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Prestige line
The safety features, lane assist, side cameras, top down 360 view, ventilated front seats, and overall smooth ride make this feel like a luxury vehicle in a more affordable price range. I'm 6'6" 290 pounds and have no problems fitting in this vehicle comfortably. Second and Third row seating flip down to unveil an incredibly massive cargo area capable of holding two or three full Costco cartloads of items. Cons: No sunglass holder. Vents don't seem sturdy enough for clip on accessories. Piano black interior finish areas retain fingerprints and scratches very easily.

WOW!! Great mileage
The Kia Sorento hybrid is full of so many features that we continue to be amazed. What amazed us most was the incredible mileage for the first 500 miles in Eco mode----an astounding 39.3 mpg, which was much more than we expected.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SUV
My 2024 KIA Hybrid Sorento is very, very quiet inside, the hybrid engine and tranny work so smooth together. I do not have any hesitation with my KIA when accelerating and am thankful for that. I am 6'0 tall and the drivers seat fits really good . My son said the captains chair and its ability to recline makes for a very comfortable ride. I was not ready for a totally electric car so this hybrid filled the gap for better gas mileage. I am averaging 32 mpg. Excellent family car ... KIA's reliability made my decision to buy this SX Prestige hybrid easy peezy!

Great Vehicle, Technology Unstable
We have now put 8,000 miles on our 2023 Sorento Hybrid. Performance, economy, comfort, handling and space all excellent. Sadly the technology seems to be the weak part. We are now waiting to see our nearest dealer for repair. We have lost: voice recognition, all radios including AM,FM,Sirius, all map display, all Nav. Fortunately Android Auto does work to give us navigation ability and have it displayed on main screen. Of course you wait a month for a service opening. We love the vehicle and hate the fact that the majority of the technology has totally failed. This is a Prestige SX model hybrid. It is currently only 4 months. We took it on an amazing trip to Canada and loved it. Returning home when the navigation and all radios failed We were glad that it had not failed on the trip. We had previously owned a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and that technology had been so perfect We expected the Kia to be reliable.

I Hate This Car
On my first road trip I got a check engine warning which the out of town dealer service center couldn't diagnose but thought it was okay to drive back home and later there was some sort of flushing the system that corporate KIA told the dealer to do. About 8 months later on a road trip I lose power and have to pull over on a busy freeway 20 miles from the nearest town but near an exit. KIA roadside assist was unable to locate me and kept insisting my location was hundreds of miles away and couldn't look up the address of the actual nearest dealer. The dealer is now telling me that a rock flew through the grill and damaged the radiator for the hybrid motor and admitted that there is a serious design flaw because if rocks don't hit the radiator, they hit the AC condenser. The tow truck operator told me he tows more Hyundais and Kias than any other make. The interior is nice feeling, but there is about a two minute lag on the infotainment touchscreen after about 30 minutes of driving.
