Ease of Use Cruise Controls: frustrating!
Bought his Sportage with the highest trim level. I have driven it for 1 month and have the following observations: 1) [CON] Takes than 12-16 hours (using 120v charger that came with the car) to fully charge the battery which gives it about 32 miles of range. 2) [CON] We have read the Driver's Manual instructions about using the Adaptive Crusise Controls, but we find them not easy to understand/learn so we can quickly set and adjust the speed. Our 2017 Subaru Outback is MUCH easier! 3) [PRO] The car is very quiet while driving in the city and highway. 4) [PRO] Love the side camera view that comes on whenever you use the turn-signal! 5) [PRO] Find the pedestrian warning "steering wheel vibration" very helpful when backing up... especially in a Costco parking lot!!!

Excellent car! But, why no wireless CarPlay?
I love the way this car drives, especially in electric mode. It has a beautiful dashboard, with a 24 inch display. The right- and left-turn camera views are a real plus. From the outside it is stunningly beautiful, and the panoramic sun/moon roof is amazing. Mostly, I just think it is a great vehicle. But there is one ridiculous error by Kia - on the high-end trims, it does not support wireless CarPlay. Why, exactly? Some "business reason", certainly not a technical one - the draw on the battery is trivial? A huge and entirely unnecessary failing. I dropped a star on this review because of it. This can be fixed by Kia with a software update, no doubt, if they chose to do so. Please do so.
