Luxury +
Great looking exterior but interior is lacking - nav system blurs out up top and steering wheel is like trying to grip a wet bar of soap to the point of being dangerous when turning. If steering wheel is leather it is very cheap. Spoke to dealer and they had no answers. Overall the interior of GX is much closer now to 4 runner than the smaller version of the LX that it used to be. Not saying that’s bad but it is a completely different car

Almost heaven
I traded a 2020 RR Sport HST for my new 2024 GX 550 Lux+. They’re both great in their own way. I like my GX, but there are a few things that Lexus got wrong: 1) sunroof that doesn’t vent…ridiculous, 2) lack of storage space for front driver or passenger…nowhere to store things, and 3) annoyingly small gas tank, poor gas mileage…with only premium fuel. The looks are good, the ride is nice and I’m hoping for long-term reliability.

GX 550 overtrail owner
Love the GX 550 overtrail. Have owned two previous GX 460's and this model far exceeds the 460. The cabin exceeds my expectations and the new engine is great. MPG not the greatest but I suspect most people don't buy these for MPG savings. Love the Overtrail as the third row available on the Luxury appears useless to me....if you need a third row buy a minivan. Overall, love the vehicle after about 4 months and 5k miles.

Great Truck
Just picked up an OT+ about 3 weeks ago. Great vehicle so far. Did some off-roading and it did very well. Comparable to my 4Runner TRD Pro on the trails, but much more comfortable. Power is great. Ride is great. My only complaint so far is that the passenger side massage seat stopped working after only 3 weeks. Hopefully that’s a quick fix. Otherwise it’s been a real pleasure to drive. If you’re looking for an overland vehicle that can get you into the back country, but you’d like a massage while you’re there, this might be your ticket.

Head turner but luxury + needs more
One of the best looking suvs on the market hands down. The body on frame makes it a rougher ride than the defender and the variable suspension doesn't do a ton to help it. A few new model quirks that will absolutely get ironed out in the future. Massage seats are best in class (accessing them on the dash is a pain though). I don't know if the luxury + is worth the price but more options should be available (two-tone roof, more luxurious materials internally) at that price point. I would recommend the other options as their price points and options are better bang for the buck and you still have the best looking SUV.
