Electrical nightmare.

Brand new Lexus NX250 with not even 400 miles is giving me issues already that the dealer doesn’t know what’s wrong with it. They were able to see that the car turned itself off in the computer logs, but couldn’t figure out why it would do that. Three times this car has shut off in what seems like a malfunction at a traffic light. I’m not talking about the feature “Stop&start”, but the car will actually COMPLETELY turn off at the light. The car will shut my music off, chime really loudly, message will pop up that engine stopped and to shift to P and that there is low power steering, and check engine light will come on. Also keep in mind, when this happens my car is still in drive, thus the car acts like it’s in neutral until I put it in park. When I shift to P and restart the engine, it will turn back up with no hesitation and the check engine light will go away. Very disappointed. On the bright side the car is very smooth, quiet, and feels very nice. It’s a shame that It’s giving such electrical issues at such low miles.

Standard features are lacking such as a power tailgate or beeping sound when backing up. Instead it has standard bothersome fancy push door handles to get out and standard no flat tires Ugh!!! Too many annoying safety features too. This purchase was a mistake for me. At least there are comfortable seats while I ride out this purchase before I can trade it in without taking too much of a loss.

I am 77 years old and had Lexus UX 200 base model that had very good safety features. I upgraded to NX 250, 2022 base model hoping it will have all the features of UX 200 and more. Very disappointed that it does not have the basic safety features like rear cross traffic alert and automatic breaking. It does not have Rear Camera Detection RCD, Intuitive Parking Assist, Parking Support Brakes PKSB, It does not have sensors to help parking and basic view on sides, front or rear to tell me if I am too close to an object in front, rear or sides. Very disappointed. I wish I had not blindly trusted Lexus name.

Hello, it is to let you know that I bought a 2022 Lexus nx 250 and I have found after a year and a half of use that this SUV leaves much to be desired in quality according to its price, the interior noise is very high, the android connection is very deficient, so I don't know It communicates properly with Android auto many times, the bridgestone tires alenza a/s 02 RUF, it says it lasts up to 80,000 miles, the ones I have have not yet reached 25,000 miles and they are ready to change, on the other hand it is very unstable during light rain It does not come equipped with an automatic windshield wiper despite being a luxury car and yet the Toyota Rav4 does have it, disappointing, the external glove holder is poorly presented, it does not look like a luxury car, inside you can hear the pistoning of the engine, a My understanding I paid too much for this car, it leaves a lot to be desired and I am very dissatisfied. We are seniors who don't drive a lot. Wanting to buy a NON-hybrid. Went to Lexus dealer (Canada) to look at buying an NX 250. Well..............it has no driver seat memory!!! I was really taken aback. My son's Venza has this feature! And by the way, no power rear door either (Venza has this too). I am tall, but my wife not so much, so driver memory is a necessity. A power tailgate would really help her as well. How can 'upscale' Lexus even offer such a basic vehicle. Very disappointing.
