Handles Superbly, Quiet, Comfortable
We had a 2016 MKC Select and decided to turn it in, after 3 years, on a 2019 MKC Base. We enjoyed our 2016 and we really loved the new fascia on the 2019. The 2019 handles much better than the 2016 and has an extremely quiet cabin. We love not having a shifter in the console, memory seats and SYNC3. This SUV has a lot of pep with the standard engine and is easy on the mountain roads, where we live. We did not experience any issues with our 2016 over the 36,000 miles we owned it. If you are looking for a solid, compact SUV, they we would recommend the 2019 MKC.

Love my 2019 MKC
I'm just over 1000 and a month into my lease. This is a very comfortable vehicle and has lots of get up and go! I have the Select +, but wish I would have gone up another trim level to get the better sound system and a moon roof.

I bought the MKC 2019. It was never owned by anyone the dealer used as loaner car for when people where getting their car serviced. So it had 20000 miles on it. That should have been a clue to me. After having it and driving it for 6 months I had noticed it want idling like it did when I first bought. So I had it serviced for that problem and regular service. When I got it back still had the problem. Now I have it back in for the idle and transmission problem. Hope they can fix. It is a beautiful car and the seats make you feel like your not in a SUV.

Not happy
My truck has been at the dealership twice already in 5 months for the same issue the usb port is going to go on fire. Flashes, gets super hot & smells smoke & burnt. I have 4,000 miles on it & had it in there at 2,000 miles.

IMPRESSIVE is
I recently purchased a ‘19 Lincoln MKC which is now named a “Corsair” with 18,000 miles. My wife drives a Cadillac XT5, a mid-size crossover compared with the compact MKC. The Lincoln trumps the Cadillac on quietness and the Lincoln’s 2.0 liter turbo 4 equals the Caddy’s V6 power. The Lincoln also handles a little quicker. The Caddy’s ride was much firmer until I replaced its OEM Michelin’s with the new Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrives - both cars now ride smoothly. Both cars perform exceptionally as one would expect of a premium brand. But, I must admit that I’m very pleasantly surprised with my first Lincoln. After 5,000 miles I find the Lincoln very enjoyable — great styling, inside and out; very quite engine/transmission; powerful 2.0L 4-cylinder Turbo with 21-23 MPG average; Chirping the FWD tires upon fast start from take-off is too easy; one must be careful especially on wet pavement. Handling is easy, but can be a little twitchy if one turns the steering wheel too quickly. Front seats and legroom are very comfortable - excellent on long trip. Instrumentation was easy to learn and all the dash “buttons” work well. No repairs or maintenance except oil changes with odometer at 24,000 miles. Very happy and impressed. When the next car purchase happens, I’ll certainly have another Lincoln on my favorites list! 11/6/2022 Review Update: All problems with wet traction and handling were corrected by installing the same tire that I had put on my wife’s ‘17 Cadillac XT5 - Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrives. What an incredible improvement! My Lincoln is now more IMPRESSIVE. UPDATE: My ‘19 Lincoln MKC (now renamed Nautilus) with 27,000 miles is an awesome compact crossover SUV. The 2.0L Turbo 4-cylinder is powerful, quiet, trouble free and with efficient 21city - 30 freeway MPG of fuel. Handling is sporty, ride is smooth and seating is comfortable in a very spacious cabin with premium materials. The exterior and interior styling is modern and beautiful. What items need improvement? Well, the brakes are touchy needing little pressure, and shifting in lower gears could be smoother. My overall experience has been exceptional, and I would highly recommend this premium SUV. It is my first Lincoln and I’ll certainly buy another.
