Fantastic car!

The 2024 E450 is a powerhouse. When in sports drive you literally can get pinned to your seat during a fast acceleration. The car is super quiet and extremely smooth on the highway even at 70MPH. The interior is luxurious and comfortable. The driver assist is remarkable enabling you to fully relax at highway speeds, even moving to the left automatically when a slower car is front and returning you to the right lane when done passing. There are so many new technical features that it will take a while to rad/learn them all but I’m planning to schedule another review with the dealer. Both my wife and I love this car and would highly recommend it to others.

Ready: Not ready yet for prime time.

Technology is good but not ready: dashcam has finally released software. Digital lights currently in the US are a 1k upgrade. Software may be upgraded to potential functionality in DEc 2024. Remote view( available in BMW ) is not available in this brand new designed car. Digital key works most of the time but is still not 100% dependable. Stop and Start is not as excellent as BMW. We need to press the brake for "hold" functionality. The drive is impressive. Advance assist drive: works better than BMW.

Quite Noisy

We’ve had our 2024 E class for almost a year. There have been several electronic/digital issues, but we hope these will be resolved in the upcoming Mercedes digital update. BUT the most objectionable feature of this vehicle is the engine noise! It is primarily the engine noise during acceleration. Road and wind noise are acceptable, but engine noise is worse than the diesel we had before this car.

My 2025 E450: A Dream Car

With just 100 miles driven in my new E450, I am getting 32mpg; WOW! Highway-34mpg. The Center Display is enormous and easy to read. The acceleration is awesome. Quality of interior is all MB Class. Technology is beyond expectations. Comfort is what one would only expect in the S Class, but the E450 is comparable. I've owned 3 E450 sedans in the past, but this one is superior as to acceleration, technology, comfort, road handling both highway and urban driving, and class! My new E450 has most of the available options with an MSRP of $83,635.

Not that comfortable

Unfortunately I paid $72,000 for a non comfortable car. I have the car now for almost 3 months. I am 5 10 and it’s hard to get in and out from the car, the cabin is tight especially the rear legroom very disappointing, it’s very tiring and not comfortable at all. The adaptive cruise control keeps applying brakes for No reason and reduces my speed from 65 MPH down to 35 MPH and sometimes down to 15 MPH, very dangerous. The car does not come with a spare tire, the tires are flat run and the are $2,200 to replace a set of 4. The right wiper makes a loud and disturbing noise in a light rain. Lane departure will NOT bring you back on track. The 4 cylinder engine is very impressive and has more than enough power, very quite on the highway, as for fuel consumption I got 42 MPG on a 4 hours trip with cruise control set at 65 MPH. the air conditioning air vents flow is a state of the art, it cools and warms the cabin without feeling the air flow hitting you. the interior design is a top notch. If you have an illuminated front grill then your license plate bracket will cover some of the bottom light bar, and it will cover the front radiator air flow by almost 10%. As for the transmission up shifting is very smooth, but down shifting you will feel the drag as the car slows down and I believe it’s because of the V48 battery charging. If you are 5 10 like me and you have tall passenger riding with you, then this is not a right car choice for you.
