2024 MINI Countryman Wagon Trims Comparison

Cooper
The Countryman Cooper has a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine (134 horsepower, 162 lb-ft of torque) powering the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Choose the optional All4 all-wheel-drive system, and the Cooper trades the dual-clutch for an eight-speed automatic.

Cooper S
For more satisfying acceleration, the Cooper S model is the one you want because it adds more power and torque thanks to a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (189 hp, 207 lb-ft). It employs a dual-clutch automatic with front-wheel drive or an eight-speed sport automatic with all-wheel drive.

John Cooper Works
In John Cooper Works (JCW) specification, Mini tunes the Countryman for rousing performance. It uses a turbocharged four-cylinder making 301 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque and powers all four wheels through an eight-speed sport automatic transmission. This version also includes a sport suspension and upgraded brakes with four-piston Brembo front calipers.

This year, the Cooper is available only with Classic trim. The Cooper S and JCW are available in Classic, Signature and Iconic trim levels. The details of each follow below.
