Wow. I really bought a Nissan Titan?

James, 12/13/2020
2020 Nissan Titan PRO-4X 4dr King Cab 4WD SB (5.6L 8cyl 9A)
Ok so where do I start. I’m a truck enthusiast who regularly trades in every 3 years. I was getting ready to trade in my 2017 Ram Big Horn with the Hemi. While shopping with the wife for a new suv I mentioned to the salesman that the next day is my day to purchase a new truck. He asked if I’ve ever considered a Titan. I laughed it off like a bad joke as I test drove one before my Ram … purchase in 2017 and thought the term “truck” for it was used lightly. He asked if the next day I would give it a shot and sit in one and I gave him my word since he was a pretty cool guy. Purchase day. I wake up, look in the mirror, give myself a halftime super bowl talk, and get ready to rumble. First stop, local Chevy dealer, as the Silverado and bow tie hold that special fuzzy place in the heart. Come to me Mr. Trail Boss or hell I’m come to you. It was sweet. It invited me to step in and stay awhile. Employee pricing plus a rebate? Thank you. Sorry mr. Salesman. I do this every 3 years and I’m not ending my run this soon. Off to the Ram dealership. My ‘17 Ram treated me well but it’s time to look at Miss 2021, the hot younger sister. Oh my 12” touchscreen, what big beautiful eyes you have. You run so smooth and quiet and have that hemi power that melts my heart. Employee pricing as well you say???? Love it. But sorry Mr. Salesman. I promised the ugly duckling in the corner a dance as well. Off to Nissan. Talking to the wife and kids about which one to get, Silverado or Ram. Pull in, kids get excited for the golf cart ride, and off we go. Then I see it from a distance. That ugly duckling ditched the braces, glasses, the acne, and dropped a few pounds to boot. Mr. Salesman what is that one? That is a Pro-4x Titan. Damn. What was this??? This think looked sweet, hopped inside, features galore. Orange stitching, orange interior lights. I fell in love. Drove it and it felt like a car while just as quiet on the inside as the Ram. Pressed the peddle and what? How can a Nissan throw me in the seat harder than my Hemi? 400 HP with 413 lbs of torque you say? For real though, I scooped up that thing with great rebates and 0% financing. Sometimes I wonder who am driving a Nissan truck but when I hop in and drive I realize why. A+++ and the new style Titan is something I wouldn’t have suspected. Hopefully the secret doesn’t get out so they keep throwing out insane deals
