Moving up to the Ascend trim adds a third motor (850 hp, 1,103 lb-ft combined), but if that's not enough, there's a forthcoming update to the R1S' quad-motor option — a motor at each wheel — that generates a combined 1,025 hp and 1,198 lb-ft of torque. The R1S offers three battery packs — Standard (270 miles of range), Large (330 miles) and Max (410 miles, or 380 miles in Ascend Tri Max configuration).

Adventure
Comes well equipped with:

• Forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking (warns if a front impact is imminent and applies the brakes if you don't respond in time)
