- Part of the third Phantom generation introduced for 2018
Ultimate luxury, thy name is Rolls-Royce. With more than a century of making the most luxurious and desired vehicles, Rolls has a well-founded claim as the pinnacle of class and refinement. Of the five models in the brand's lineup, the 2019 Rolls-Royce Phantom represents the top of the top and has a starting price that approaches the $500,000 neighborhood.

For the money, you get a stately large sedan that has historically been intended to be driven by a chauffeur. The interior is bathed in the finest materials available and is quiet as a library, even at rather excessive speeds. The closest competitor is the Bentley Flying Spur. It can also be chauffeured, but it's a little more engaging should you choose to drive yourself. It's also half the price of the Phantom.
Edmunds' Expert Rating
Which Phantom does Edmunds recommend?
The Phantom's raison d'être is to make a statement of wealth, so you might as well step up to the extended-wheelbase version (EWB). We suggest adding the optional Driver Assistance Systems and Phantom packages for the adaptive cruise control and added interior finery.

2019 Rolls-Royce Phantom 4dr Sedan (6.7L 12cyl Turbo 8A)
I have had a 2019 phantom since the beginning of April and the car has been in the shop at least 3 times because of vibrations coming from the wheels and tires. The last time it was in the shop for 3 weeks! Other than that I really like the car. I think that the customer service of rolls royce is not that great.

I have owned this car for a few months and I have loved every moment in it. It looks absolutely amazing and I love it so much. The performance is what you would expect from a 5,000 pound car.
