Owned 3 months, been to dealership for repairs twi
Car drives ok, I have the onyx. But it seems to be built cheaper in 2022. I have numerous issues; from electronics faulting in Starlink, roof rack getting loose, rattling from front cameras in windshield. All within 2k mileage.

Garbage!!
Subaru ruined this car with all their "special electronic safety features". Bought it new and I hate it!! Can't wait for the car market to settle down so I can dump this off. Will never buy another new Subaru again, instead of a fun car to drive, I am annoyed everything.

Judder issue rear axle
The car is great but after 1 year it developed a judder in the rear axle when turning at speed from a complete stop (like a basketball bouncing in the trunk). Car has been at shop for over a month but still waiting on 2 parts to fix the transmission. Avoid at all costs!

Great Ride, Loaded with features!
Bought in mid august and only have around 1500 miles on it, but overall I’m very impressed. Went with Subaru after owning two fusions (2013, 2016) because of their excellent reputation for reliability and safety. The car is extremely well rounded with a large cargo area in the back (with an all-so-helpful power lift gate!), leatherette seating, heated front and rear seats, and a huge 11.3” info screen in the middle of the dash!

Not that great
The car is loaded with plastic parts everywhere. What will the parts availability be in 20-30 years. We have the 2.4L turbo engine and have to work real hard to get 25 mpg across west Texas (No hills or accelerating/decelerating). Touch screen is slow to respond. Really regret black interior, it shows dirt easily. It has a nice ride and pretty quiet interior on the highway. Too many safety features that can't be disabled. The seat belt alarm screams loud on the lowest setting. The engine turn off at a stop probably does little to nothing for mpgs, when the light when you accelerate from a stopped engine the engine wear from lack of oil being pumped through the ports promotes engine wear. Brought it back with less than 500 miles due to lower door molding coming off. It is fastened with 2 sided tape. This is an 4wd car, not an SUV.
