2025 Toyota GR Supra Coupe Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

Removing the four-cylinder engine from the mix makes it a lot simpler to choose a 2025 Toyota GR Supra. This two-seat sport coupe is available in 3.0 and 3.0 Premium trim levels. Its 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine sends 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, and a six-speed manual transmission is a no-cost option.

GR Supra 3.0
Standard equipment includes:

  • 19-inch forged-aluminum wheels
  • LED headlights
  • Proximity entry and push-button start
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Heated power seats
  • Driver's seat memory settings
  • Leather and synthetic suede upholstery
  • Digital instrument panel
  • 8.8-inch infotainment display with center console controller
  • 10-speaker sound system

The GR Supra does not come standard with as many driver assist features as other Toyotas. Those it does include are:

  • Forward collision warning with automatic braking (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Lane keeping assistance (steers the GR Supra back into its lane if it begins to drift over the lane marker)

The Safety & Technology package adds a wealth of items, some of which are included on the upper trim level. These include:

  • Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
  • Parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible in front of or behind the vehicle when parking)
  • Rear automatic braking (applies the brakes automatically to avoid an imminent collision with an object behind the vehicle)
  • Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the GR Supra and the car in front; automatic-equipped models only)
  • Touchpad infotainment controller upgrade
  • Integrated navigation
  • Voice commands
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • 12-speaker JBL sound system

3.0 Premium
Mechanically, the Premium trim level is the same as the base model. Its additions include:

  • Head-up display
  • Full-leather upholstery
  • Touchpad infotainment controller upgrade
  • Integrated navigation
  • Voice commands
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • 12-speaker JBL sound system

The 3.0 Premium's Driver Assist package adds:

  • Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
  • Parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible in front of or behind the vehicle when parking)
  • Rear automatic braking (applies the brakes automatically to avoid an imminent collision with an object behind the vehicle)
  • Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the GR Supra and the car in front; automatic-equipped models only)

Which GR Supra trim does Edmunds recommend?

We would spring for the 3.0 Premium. For an extra $3,000, you get leather upholstery, wireless device charging and upgraded infotainment, including Apple CarPlay. Do you really need any of that? Probably not. Should CarPlay be standard? Definitely yes. Still, you'll be happy you got that stuff.
