There’s plenty to like here, power, room, styling (subjective I know) and it’s quiet. But the build quality is awful, fuel economy is terrible, and what happened to Toyota dependability? I’m not one of the unlucky people who’ve had entire engines grenade, but I’ve still had issues with oil leaks, a Missfire, and a vibration in the driveline. The dealer has been great, but this Tundra has truly soured me of Toyota trucks. I really wish I had my 2016 Tundra back! UPDATE: my vibration turned into a shudder that got worse, Toyota replaced the entire transmission! The vibration is gone, but so is my confidence in this truck.

Owned a 2023 limited crew max long box. Drove for ~9,000kms and while on major hwy had complete loss of power and three pistons misfiring simultaneously and consistently. Had it towed to Toyota dealer and stated I would not get back in that truck. They traded and put me in a 2024 Tundra Limited crew max short bed. Since day one the rear differential has howled, the mirrors whistle, the windshield seal causes temperature dependant creaking/popping, the motor has pulsating vibration that feels like it is going to blow up, the entire truck shakes intermittently. I am not impressed with Toyota on this truck and they have yet to get things right in 2024. Buyer be ware.

Well the truck is spacious and comfortable. That being said, it has a lot of wind noise, but that not the major issues. I'm a disabled Veteran, so I need to slide out my seat. This should not be a problem right, I been doing this in every vehicle I owned since my injury. The Tundra seat broke. They replaced it once. I found out that this is a common problem with thousands of this style seat. The second time it broke, they said it is a driver's abuse! Clearly a designer's issue and they don't want to take responsibility for it. Lane assistance is unsafe, in my opinion, clearly a program for that truck. It doesn't keep you center lane. They also blame this on the driver. I own a Highlander, it stays center lane. I just found out that if you want to auto start your car you must pay monthly for it. LOL, all my other cars I had it was free. Looks like I'm leaving Toyota on my next purchase.

2024 Tundra Limited Hybrid CrewMax. Most disappointing and most expensive new vehicle purchase I’ve ever made in my 49 years of driving. This truck makes me sorely miss my 10 year old F-150. Pros: The hybrid system has amazing power and is lightning fast and tows great. The rest of the truck is poorly put together. Cons: All kinds of plastic interior squeaks and rattle's. Loose headliner, windshield was replace due to being improperly installed at factory. The composite bed looks very durable and I’m sure it is but, it rattles and thunks so badly that’s all I hear on a bumpy road. Front wheels are scrubbing off on outside edges due to improper factory alignment. Terrible wind noise around front passenger windows at highway speeds. Loud enough to be uncomfortable. Truly unacceptable from a manufacturer that designs and builds as many vehicles as Toyota. The remote start has no range, maybe 20’. Can’t start it across a parking lot. If you can get it to work when you’re standing right next to the truck you must get the sequence just right. Remote start shuts the truck off when you open the door to get in. Also, the remote start will shut off if you drop the tailgate. It will not remote start if the doors are unlocked OR if the tailgate is down. Dumbest setup I’ve ever seen. I’ll never buy another Toyota. I hate this truck with a passion.

Purchased the 4x4 1794 limited edition. What an awesome truck. Incredible acceleration with the hybrid twin turbo engine and extreme comfort with the large infotainment system. This vehicle reminds me of the first Cadillac Escalade truck I bought in 2006 that was years ahead in ride and comfort. Extremely impressed with quality of the vehicle.
