2025 Toyota Tundra Double Cab Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

The 2025 Toyota Tundra is a four-door pickup truck available in extended-cab (Double Cab) and crew-cab (CrewMax) configurations, with one short bed and one long bed option for each. You can choose from seven trim levels: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, TRD Pro and Capstone. Keep reading for our breakdown of the Tundra's engines, standard features and optional packages.

A turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine (389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque) is standard on most Tundra models. It pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Toyota offers the same engine paired with an electric motor in the transmission as an option on the Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition trim levels and as standard equipment on the TRD Pro and Capstone. This powertrain is significantly more powerful with a combined output of 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque.

The Tundra's base trim starts you off with:

Many features found on the higher trims are available as options on the lower trims, often bundled into packages.

Which Tundra trim does Edmunds recommend?

The Limited trim offers the most value and versatility in the Tundra lineup. It's offered in both cab styles, two bed lengths, and rear- or four-wheel drive. The Limited also opens the option of the hybrid powertrain, which significantly ups power and torque output.
