2020 BMW i3
The i3 is a great car. I am really shocked at the negative reviews and comments here on Edmunds and especially in YouTube reviews. I've had a used 2020 i3s with the range extender on it for several months now, and the car works perfectly for me. I used it commute cheaply from home to work and back (37 miles each way), and the i3 is perfect for this. I've owned other electric cars, and … the i3 is every bit as good if not moreso in many ways. The interior is more than roomy enough more most commuters, and the car is comfortable. It's also very fun to drive - I've owned supercars, and the i3 is a really great driving experience. The interior finishes are fine enough for most people, and the styling is eye catching in the 2020. The one I bought was meticulously cared for, one owner and it only had 21,000 miles on it. When I drove it, the A/C was inoperative, but the dealer had that repaired under warranty for me - all was replaced, works like a champ now. If you're in the market for an electric commuter, the i3 is an excellent choice. The nonsensical complaints about range ignore the basic premise that the car is sized for a specific driving scenario. If you need 500 miles of range, don't buy an i3. My commute is only 37 miles, so the i3 is great and saves me big money in gas.
