2025 BMW iX
I could give you 1000 reasons why I liked this EV, but also give you 1001 reason why I disliked the car. The major reason: range fear and lack of adequate charging stations in the Northeast (unless you are a Tesla owner). In addition, plan on losing a minimum of 25% of your range when the temperature drops below 45 degrees. Charging at 90% during the summer, I had 345 miles of range. … Once the temp dropped, charging to 100% only gave me 285 miles maximum. Great car, great drive, but I am just not ready at this time for an EV. At least not until significant improvements are made in the infrastructure and battery technology.
