Fun Car for the 'Twisty's...and very reliable!

1997 BMW Z3
Bought the 1.9L version for my son's first car in 2008, with only 70,000 miles, for a little under $8,000. He drove it a couple of years until he decided he wanted to buy himself a different car with manual transmission. We decided to keep the car for both a daily driver and for our many trips to the Smoky Mountains...to include many runs on the "Tail of the Dragon", Cherohala Skyway … and many other twisty roads. I take care of normal maintenance such as oil changes, air filter, shocks, brakes, etc., and this car has been great with very few repairs required. Just recently passed 231,000 miles and still going strong. Great car for the fun roads as well as a daily driver!
