I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 (the 2024 highlander drove the same as the 2014 Toyota highlander and had the same old chassis and interior so I wanted something different this time).
The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least … turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag).
Cadillac's torque kicks on early at 1500 rpm producing 258 lbs.
PRO:

- Lighted Cadillac logo behind the dashboard is reminiscent of the lighted Apple logo on Macbooks
- Excellent reliability (no hybrid complexity to break)

- 74 in car width is spacious, and the widescreen makes it feel even more spacious

- Auto engine stop/start is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it.
- The rear wiper on the liftgate is mounted on top of the glass for a clean look and is very easy to clean the window without getting snagged by the wipers if they were mounted at the bottom of the window like most SUVs.
