2024 Chevrolet Colorado
310 HP and 430 Torque ratings are a great combination for this truck, at 4,400# the performance of my Colorado. With 8 speed transmission the acceleration is equal to or better than, a friends GMC 1500 Denali 4x4 with 5.3 / 10 speed transmission, 3.73 ratio.
The best part is that I consistantly get better gas mileage, than the EPA ratings. Doing the math bares this out. For example 26-28 … highway has been fairly common, mixed driving has never been less than 24 MPG...ever.
Having had 2 Ram 1500's in the past with excellant service, and all around performance, going back to leaf springs, felt like a step backwards...not to worry ride and handling are very good, better than expected....equal to or better than the Coil soring suspensions on the 2024 Tacoma's that I test drove.
