2002 Chevrolet Express Cargo
5.0L V-8 (Edmunds didn't show this as an option). It has nearly 240K miles on it. I've averaged 18 mpgs on the highway. It's been EXTREMELY reliable. It's beginning to show its age, but it IS almost 20 years old. At 125K miles when I bought it, it had a hard time staying in the top gear. I changed the transmission fluid, and the problem went away. I've replaced the fluid regularly … (about every 40K miles) and have had no more issues. The engine is not particularly powerful, but it gets the job done. As far as full size vans go, I couldn't have wished for better.
