2023 Chevrolet Traverse
Traverse is a great value for the $ and there is no other 3 row crossover as big for hauling people, pets, cargo other than more expensive Toy Grand Highlander, which does not drive as nice and does not have a naturally aspirated V6 like Traverse. And Ive bought 3 new Lexus in last 2 yrs, so Im a Toyota/Lexus fan, but NOT so much of their new problematic 4 cyl turbo/ev engine and/ or … under powered
Loud 4cyl turbo engines designed to meet US emissions standards, their 6 cyl were great. Back to Traverse, 2023 was last model yr for naturally aspirated ICE 6yl engine, 2024 traverse will also have 4cy turbos, which are never as reliable as ICE engines. My 2023 Traverse RS handles well for the price point, stopping, and ride quality are also impressive. Takes regular unleaded gas, what not to love other than the occasional rattle, which is under TSB# 21-NA-023…… Chevy will put two 4 inch rubber hoses around purge valve/hose to keep intermittent obnoxious rattling tamped down by 90% or so. And if elct parking break gets stuck, common problem, just turn car on w/ foot on brake pedal and pull up on parking break tab for about 12-15 secs, light flashes on dash board and then just push down/ tap down once on parking brake, then it is disengaged and you are not stranded, take to chevy dealership when you get a chance to check out parking brake. Bose 12 speaker radio is a solid good sound system. Controls are very simple to use, not having to take undue focus off driving which unfortunately is becoming a rarity with new models/ new generations of vehicles. Seats are very comfortable too even for non- anorexia drivers.
