1998 Ford Contour SVT
Man I had one of these new in 1998 and had zero problems mopping the floor with BMWs, Infinity's,Maxima's,and even V8 Mustangs and Camaros. Always said if I ever found another one I'd jump on it. Well got lucky about a month ago and picked up a 1998.5 with only 113000 miles. Interior still in magnificent shape. Does need some paint work but the $3200 I paid for it I can't complain. Best … sound from a V-6 period. I plain on keeping this one till I'm an OLD MAN. Never will be for sale. Keep up your maintenance though and don't use cheap parts. Oh and use 93octane. It says that on the fuel gauge for a reason. Take care of it and it will last well beyond 200000 miles as my first one did. Was still running pretty strong when I traded it. Great piece of SVT history and great sleeper car!!
