2022 Ford Escape Plug-In Hybrid
Let’s see, where to begin. Recall after recall after recall. How about fire hazard of gas fumes in the engine compartment? The fix? Drill holes in the grill shutters to allow air flow. That was the first time. It was recalled again a second time same issue. Brakes: some interaction between the regenerative brakes and hydraulic brakes will leave you and your family in the middle of an … intersection! Recall for that apparently too. Infotainment: screen came up reversed once in a while, that’s a head scratcher!! No 4x4 option. I live in the northeast so that’s a pita. Electric driving 37 miles? Yeah in the summer. Winter is 15. Engine noisy, zero performance, sticker was 45k and I lost 20k trading this turd in after only 18 months. Thanks ford. Never again. Bought a Mazda.
