Good power, safety features, brakes

2022 Ford Explorer
The explorer has strong and responsive brakes and it’s a good thing, especially with the nimble turbo four-cylinder having surprising power. The transmission shifts through its 10 gears smoothly and the ride is typical for a Ford with off-road capability. I have the towing package and it pulls a small trailer easily. Actual mileage experienced driving mostly in the mountains for … 3000 miles is around 22 mpg. It’s not particularly showy, but it’s a very practical vehicle that operates as expected. The adaptive cruise is nice. The driver safety features seem to function well And have already applied the brakes for me when I failed to spot someone pulling out behind me. Ample room for the family. I hope it’s as dependable as my previous Fords. Would like to see a larger screen for the camera.
