2008 Ford Shelby GT500
I am a little late to the reviews, but I want to do one anyway. This is my 6th mustang. My first was an 86 GT, then an 89 Gt, 2003 lx 5.0, 97 cobra, and then a 2003 mach 1. They got faster each year, especially when they went to the 4 valve mod engine. But none of them compare at all to the 5.4 supercharged engine in this one. It spins the tires in every gear and if it did not have … traction control, you could not even keep it to the floor. So much power is just unheard of. The inside is pretty much just like all the other ones with the exception of gt500 badges. All the money on this car was spent under the hood. The one I got has only 16,000 miles on it so its still new. The former owner installed a smaller pulley on the supercharger, cold air intake, flow master exhaust and had it tuned by Ford Racing and it now has around 600 hp. More than enough for anybody and it is always a blast to drive. This car gets attention that the others did not get. I have also owed corvettes but this is the one that seems to be special and I will keep it for a long time.
