Sliding door issue is NOT just cabin pressure

2015 Ford Transit Van
The sliding door issue with mine, and apparently many others, is because when you close the sliding door, it HITS the front passenger door. The dealership tried twice to tell me it was a cabin pressure issue, and to "just open the passenger door" before closing the sliding door. Wrong. First of all, that's ridiculous. You're telling me the Ford engineers designed it so, when my 12 year … old gets in the backseat, he can't close the door from inside without first opening the front passenger door? If so, then WHO is going to close the PASSENGER door? The driver, who has to get out and walk around the car? Anyway, after the dealership told me that twice, I researched it online. Several reviews said to look for rubbed off paint. So, I did, and once I saw the paint missing off the front passenger door, that showed me where to look for contact between the sliding door and the passenger door when I close it. It's not hard to see. I showed the dealership, and they then changed their diagnosis and said I need to get the door "adjusted" by a Ford-certified body shop. Also, 3 seatbelts don't work, but the dealership could only fix 2 because no parts are available, and they said they can't order it, to just check back monthly because a recall was issued but the parts to repair aren't available. So, I'm down a seat until they manufacture more seatbelts.
