1996 Ford Windstar
In 1996 I bought a new Windstar. It was beautiful and fully loaded. I absolutely loved it. Never had any problems whatsoever. Kept up on maintenance. It was a great van. The only reason I sold it was to upgrade. In 2006 I bought a used 2003 Windstar. It had 29,000 miles and all the upgrades for that era. Today I still drive this fantastic van with 239,000 miles on it. Back and passenger … windows do not work. To get the driver window down you have to beat the door by the controls. Speedometer does not work and I have got several speeding tickets! And it has lots of electrical problems. It even set for 2 years but put a battery in it and started right up. I tried to sell this year but when someone was interested in it I couldn’t do it. Too many wonderful memories.
