1997 Geo Metro
Heater Fan switch falls apart, just strap tie or tie it back together. Scuff front brake rotors before installing new pads. Metallic factory pads were hard on them. Limited tire availability, Kumho are fine. Glue on another headliner fabric, use high temp. 3M. Use high mileage oil and add seal swell in trans.! Oil leaking onto clutch calls for expensive clutch job and seal swell, … your choice, seal swell before or after! Shift it floor it but don't slam bang trans. It will break. Slow cars are better to drive fast than fast cars slow. Exterior mirrors may break off. Can glue in another stud and remount using longer screws and a nut on the new stud. Has hydraulic lifters so no valve adjustment is a big bonus. I don't think about the timing belt at all, probably because it has a chain. Another bonus if so! Window regulators are a bit wonky so best to leave them up. The best pile if cheap junk I ever bought, used, low miles. A winner! Beats Pinto, Vega, Chevette,Yugo, and bug!
