Great for short milage trips!

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid
I have just over 8,000 miles in six months with my Santa Fe PHEV. I charge it at home only used the 110v charger that came with it three times.
I average 34-38 true electric miles on a charge. Hybrid milage is in the 31-33 range. My overall is at 80.2 mpg .
Very comfortable ride and very quiet on electric only mode. As I live in the desert I'm using the a/c quite offen. It hasn't … effected the milage like the heater or cooler temperature do.
No squeaks rattles or wind noise while driving. My son is 6' 3" and the back seat is perfect he says. He enjoys the adjustment of the back that leans more than any other vehicle we have owned.
I wish it would charge as fast as the Tucson PHEV. Also that you could adjust the seat memory when you open the door. My F-350 has that feature.
Like others have said shifting between R and D there is a lag but no big deal in my opinion.
Overall is it perfect, no but the pluses outweigh the few negatives. I will say if you don't have or install a level 2 charger just buy a hybrid not a PHEV!
