2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
I bought the car new in 2017. I currently have 147,000 miles on the car. Great car. Factory tires replaced at 72K. 2nd set replaced at 140k. Changed oil every 10K using Mobile full synthetic oil. Hyundia did injection cleaning service, full body throttle service and changed spark plugs at 140K. Headlight bulbs will go out at 60k consistency. Car got 40-42 mpg up to 140K miles. After … 140K and service, mpg has slowly dropped to 32-37 mpg. Is this a sign that my hybrid battery is getting weak? Is there a way to test the hybrid battery or is it just going to die? At what point would Hyundia replace the Hybrid battery?
