1998 Lexus ES 300
In 2018, I needed to spend some money to fix leaks from my car that were dripping on the garage floor. In 2019, I did not pass my smog test due to lack of communication. To get my car smogged, the smog monitors were not engaging after a reset so they replaced the thermostat and one of the monitors. I also needed a new starter (the 1st time in 20 years) and they recommended something … for the idling of the car in the future, an idle control value I believe it was. The car had about 133,000 miles on it, was garage kept and detailed every year or two. It still drove like a dream, but the cost to keep it going was increasing. It was in beautiful shape and I sold it for $2600.
